Beard or clean-shaven is fine — it must match your current everyday look exactly.

FAQs

Photo FAQs

Can I edit my photo with mobile apps? +

No. Filters or edits that change your appearance or background lead to rejection. Submit a natural, unedited photo.

Can I scan a printed photo? +

No. Scans lose resolution. Submit an original digital photo.

Will a low-quality phone camera cause rejection? +

Blurry or pixelated images are rejected. Use a decent camera with good daylight and a clean lens.

Can I wear earrings or jewellery? +

Avoid large or shiny pieces that reflect light or cover facial features. Small studs are fine.
